Fern.co.th — Real Estate Aggregator in Thailand

Context: A real estate listing platform competing with major Asian sites. The ambitious goal is to become the premier service in Asia, comparable to Zillow, with listings linked to specific residential complexes.

My Role: Sole developer on the project for over a year. I took over the project from a previous team, reworked the architecture, and am preparing the ground for team development with my studio.

Stack: Next.js 15 — a deliberate choice:

• SSR for SEO (critical for a marketplace)
• Page load speed
• Security out of the box
• Developer Experience for the future team

What I did:

• Reworked legacy code from the previous team
• Built an architecture for scaling
• Prepared the project for teamwork (documentation, code style, CI/CD)

Result: The project is in active development, preparing for the launch of the listing platform.
